Visit to the South African Army Combat Training

The spirit of the members of the South
African Army Combat Training Centre was high
while they were waiting for the Chief of the
Army, Lieutenant General S.Z.Shoke, address them
at the SA Army Combat Training Centre on 11 May
2010. One of the troops said that it would be
the first time that he saw the Chief of the
Army.

When the Chief of the Army entered the hall, he
was welcomed by two Imbongis who praised him.
The troops then started singing songs.

During his address, the Chief
of the Army, thanked the members of the SA Army
Combat Training Centre for their support during
the training of members of the SA Army and
during Army exercises. He also touched on
important points in the Minister of Defence and
Military Veterans’s speech. The members were
afforded the opportunity to ask questions.

After the Chief of the Army
had left the hall, one of the members said that
it was an interesting address. Another member
said the visit showed that the Chief cared about
them. |
