Rain continues to pour heavily, cell phones continue to ring with only one message "The weather is bad and we don’t think we are going to fly today". That was during the donors visit to the Lenz Military Base on 7 November 2008 to view the progress that has been made in building the SA Army Hospice since May 2008. Despite the rain, donors from different industries started to arrive at the SA Army College for a breakfast with the Chief of the SA Army, Lieutenant General S.Z. Shoke. From there they were going to be flown to Lenz Military Base, in Johannesburg.

"What you are going to see there is the work done by our own members who were trained at Tshwane South College at the beginning of the year".
