Basic Military Training

Clearing In: Recruits clear in to be transformed into South African
soldiers

Fitness: Running becomes daily routine

Drill: Drills on the parade ground gradually installs discipline into
each recruit

Teaching Continues: And you thought you would never have to study again!

Discipline + Neatness = Soldier: You might believe it is neat, but no Corporal will
ever be satisfied with this effort!

Meeting New Friends (R4): The R4 rifle is a SA soldier's best friend,
during a battle and recruits are soon introduced and "married" to their very
own

Electronic Learning: At the indoor rifle range learners are prepared for
the real thing

The Real Deal

Tradition: A time-honoured ritual for receiving anything from your
previous (civilian) life, is executed

"Make-Up" for SA Soldiers: Camouflage techniques are taught to recruits

"Another New Friend": Buddy Aid is an essential part of a SA soldier's
skills

Where are We? Map reading enable soldiers to navigate and orientate
themselves

Made It! Proudly South African Army Soldier!
