South African Military Decorations and Medals 1952 - 2003

The South African National Defence Force was established on 27 April 1994 from the military forces of the African National Congress, the Pan-Africanist Congress, the four Independent States (Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda and Ciskei) and the South African Defence Force.
